Wormholes Lead to Heaven

"Wormholes arise as solutions to the equations of Einstein's general theory of relativity. In fact, they crop up so readily in this context that some theorists are encouraged to think that real counterparts may eventually be found or fabricated and, perhaps, used for high-speed space travel and/or time travel. However, a known property of wormholes is that they are highly unstable and would probably collapse instantly if even the tiniest amount of matter, such as a single photon, attempted to pass through them. A possible way around this problem is the use of exotic matter to prevent the wormhole from pinching off."

Dad:
Physical science only knows an earth zone style physical 'universe'. Therefore their theories are limited. The concept of a door to another 'universe' however is also found in God's word. Using not strange or exotic matter that is a kissing cousin of the physical only realm, but spiritual forces, such holes are known to be opened. Such doors are a matter of record and fact.

I glanced at a site where they were stuggling with the basic concept, and found a lot of great thoughts and verses, although of course far different conclusions.

I used to lean toward a partial canopy as the source of flood water. I now lean toward the waters coming from outside what we think of as space.

What does the bible say!?

Ge 7:11 - In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Ge 8:2 - The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

So, we have in creation week, the waters above the expanse or firmament, and the waters on earth, below. In the expanse were the stars and sun and moon.

A door or window to the third heavens was opened then, apparently.

Many other times is the doors or windows of heaven referred to also.

Examples: ....

Isa 24:18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

Mal 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Psa 78:23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven, 24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.

Ezekiel 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Mark 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Since we do not know what space (the second heavens) really is far away, we cannot know distances to stars, or sizes, etc. Knowing that space may be a LOT smaller makes heaven seem a lot closer. And it is amazing that man can have and has had a direct connection to the abode of the Almighty!!!

Real science can be so interesting.

Wow. So...wormholes go...to heaven. Gotcha. No...no. Not crazy and without any evidence at all.

  1. The best part is when he said "Real science can be so interesting."

I don't think this guy really understands relativity. True, its theorized that it would take certain types of matter (or, likely, antimatter) to keep a wormhole from collapsing. But even in that instance, it doesn't necessarily allow normal matter to pass through unaltered. And theres certainly no evidence in relativity that wormholes lead anywhere beyond the normal physical universe, much less "heaven".

If you think of space as a piece of paper that is crumpled up, then you'll see some places where two points of the paper meet in its crumpled state, but would be far from each other when spread flat. A "wormhole" is the intersection (read: touching) of these two points that would normally be far apart. So it would be a shortcut through a (potentially) vast amount of space. Or it could take you from your front door to your mailbox. The point is, it would land you back in the physical universe. Some will argue "What about while you're IN the wormhole? Where are you at that moment?" but the thing is, its not really a tunnel or anything with an amount of travel. Its a way to circumvent travel. You're at point A, then at point B, with no line in between.

So I really don't know where this guy is getting his ideas here. I don't think he's looked into wormholes enough. And I doubt he's been through any, so you can't really call him an expert in the field ;)

  2. Amen to that. :) Though, as I said to SockPuppet on FB, if they want think it'll get them to heaven and they all want to go...for the love of god build a ship and send them off. It'll be worth our time and energy.

  3. Also, you should go back and check out his post on why starlight isn't evidence for an old universe. Dad loves to make the universe small and more finite than it is.

  4. CMIIW, but as I read it, the concept of bringing two points to meet each other violates relativity in two important ways:

    1. It refers to space moving through time. Relativity has no way to represent such a concept, because all foliations of spacetime are equivalent.

    2. It refers to distance as a function of two points, in the sense that the distance would be made to reach zero. But in relativity, distance can only be a function of a continuous path within spacetime.
