Ancestor FAIL

Posted at CARM on August 25th, 2011. Creationist: wiseones2cents

Statement:
There is no evidence that humans and dinosaurs lived together.

Wise:
Are you saying that the common ancestor of chimps and humans did not exist and it evolved from the water?

Huh?! No! Not even close!

Retrovirus FAIL

Posted at CARM on August 24th, 2011. Creationist: winfield

If both chimps and humans had the same retroviruses, of the same location, then, we can conclude that the viruses had attacked both chimps and humans on the same time and place. Therefore, those so called ancestors were not actually existing and [theory of evolution] is wrong.

The odds of that happening are actually LESS than this idiot accepting evidence for evolution.

Earth Fail

Posted at CARM on August 23rd, 2011. Creationist: Caius

More gravity=faster time. Gravity is greatest at the surface, and goes to zero at the center of the Earth. Likewise, if the Earth is the center of the universe, gravity would be greatest at the edge of the universe and the least at the center, where the Earth is. The result is that light could travel billions of light-years from the edge of the universe and get here in just thousands of Earth years.

The Atheist's rebuttal is to assume that the Earth isn't the center of the universe.

Ever heard of NASA? Didn't think so.

Crater FAIL

Posted at CARM on August 19th, 2011. Creationist: Supersport.

so if a crater hit the earth today would it be fair and accurate to date the crater by dating the rocks nearby?

What? Craters don't fall from the sky.

Photography FAIL

His reply is after someone posted a picture of a dinosaur bone.

Thanks for posting pics of the present. Why are you unwilling to post pics of "millions of years ago"?

You don't want to admit they may not look like you want them to.

Yes - he did just suggest that there were people and cameras around in the Mesozoic.
