Retrovirus FAIL

Posted at CARM on August 24th, 2011. Creationist: winfield

If both chimps and humans had the same retroviruses, of the same location, then, we can conclude that the viruses had attacked both chimps and humans on the same time and place. Therefore, those so called ancestors were not actually existing and [theory of evolution] is wrong.

The odds of that happening are actually LESS than this idiot accepting evidence for evolution.

  1. I think he misunderstands the definition of location in this sense to mean a geographical location, perhaps I'm pointing out the obvious or he actually does understand the context of the word location in this case.

  2. Actually, farther on in the conversation he asked "you're saying location, this other guy is saying insertion point, you clearly don't know what you're talking about".

    *shrug*

It's hard to tell what these people do and don't understand sometimes.
