Wow. How sad "science" has become. And these folks have a problem with the Bible?? Evolution, the big-bang hoax, extra-terrestrials, etc. These bogus beliefs violate the most basic of scientific tenets - demonstrable and provable. Yet, in their arrogance, the scientific community puts forth hypotheses on what occurred billions of years ago as if they could possibly know. Just as the Bible says in Psalm 15 and Psalm 43 - "The fool has said in his heart, There is no God."
This assumes that all people that accept observable reality aren't religious - which is not correct. A lot of them are - they just don't see hoaxes, they see amazing handiwork of their God(s). *shrug* But - a quote I saw last week sums it up: if you keep trying to put God in the spaces that science hasn't explained God will keep getting smaller and smaller...
